Can You Really Make Money With Affiliate/Webmaster Programs? " Blog Bucks " Tips

Can You Really Make Money With Affiliate/Webmaster Programs?

Affiliate marketing is the process of promoting another company's products or services for a commission.
This is one of the ways I've been making money on the Internet since 2006. I love affiliate marketing because it's a very simple, transparent model for earning an income online. It's not about joining some pyramid scheme where you have to recruit people to sell random products (I really hate those programs.)
You create a useful, themed website that provides information, and then casually recommend products that are related to your topic. Let's say your site is about reviewing plasma TV's. You could join Best Buy's affiliate program and earn a commission when someone purchases a TV based on your site's referral.

A Quick Affiliate Marketing Tip

The key to finding success with affiliate programs is to build a content-rich website with useful information centered around a specific topic or theme.
Don't just haphazardly throw up a quick site or blog and string a bunch of affiliate links all over your pages.
You have to start by building credibility. And the best way to do that is to write about something you know a lot about.
Instead of hard-selling, the key is to subtly recommend products and services that fit in with what you are writing about in your content.
It's also a good idea to own the products you promote so you can speak intelligently about them and appear more credible to your audience.

Affiliate Programs/Networks I Use

I am an affiliate of many networks such as Affiliate 2Day, Bang Bros.Babes Money, Bend Over Bucks, Fuck You Cash, Juggs Cash, Nasty Dollars, Paper Street Cash and more. It's really not about the network, it's more about the relevant products that you promote on your website.
So if you are creating a website about babies, you would search the various affiliate networks and look for products that relate to the theme of your website. Grab the affiliate code from your account, paste it into your site and you can begin earning from the referrals in your articles.

It's Not About The Program

People ALWAYS ask me which program to join in order to make the most money, and that's a question I will never, ever answer.
It's NOT about the program because you could make a killing withany program. What matters is if the program is relevant to your site or not.
If you are seeking out the most profitable program, you're already starting off on the wrong foot. It's about finding programs that match whatever your site is about.
I could tell you that I make $2,000/month with one program on this site, but if your site is about cooking or some other topic, obviously that program is not going to be relevant to YOUR visitors. So of course, your income would be a lot lower than mine.
So be careful about comparing your potential results with other people. If you can generate enough traffic, you can sell almost anything on your website. So don't get caught up in the specific affiliate program. Focus on the topic of your site and search for products that fit your site's content.

" Blog Bucks " How many times a week should you blog? Affiliate Programs Webmaster Sing Ups & Tips

How many times a week should you blog?

Since I started researching into social media and blogs, I have come across this question many times. “How often should I blog?

It’s a very good question, as the answer will allow you to allocate the time each week to creating your new blog posts.
Many experts in the social media field, who run multi million pound companies all say the same thing – “Blog every day”. As much as I think it would be great to create a blog post every day, this is not realistic for most small businesses.
If you have a marketing team behind you who can dedicate their time to creating brilliant blog content every day, then great. However in companies where you are your marketing team, there is not enough time in a day to accomplish this.

So why do the experts say ‘Every day’?

There are many reasons for this:
  1. Great for search engine optimisation (SEO)
  2. Keeps you up to date with latest trends
  3. Shows your an expert in your field
  4. Keeps your readers coming back to you
  5. Provides you with content for Social Media
However there are some drawbacks
  1. Each blog post takes time – approximately 2 hours per post if your just getting started
  2. Time creating content is away from time doing paid work
  3. The quality can drop as you try and rush a post each day

How often should you create new content?

Unfortunately I don’t have the correct answer for you. But I can give you a way to find out for yourself.
1. Figure out who will be creating the content for you
Is it you or one of your team members? Maybe you have a group of people who can create the content – The best blogs come from teams of people.
2. What is their normal workload?
Do they have time to fit in an hour or two each week? Can they make time in their schedule?
Most work days are already pretty full, but can move anything around to create the extra couple of hours needed? If you have a team, you could allocate the blog to one team member per week.
3. Have you planned your content?
If you have planned what you are going to write about before you start writing, the task becomes a lot easier. Spend an hour or two writing down as many topics as you can possibly think of. If you can do this as a team then even better!
4. Is it feasible to write content every day?
If you don’t have the time to write content every day, then there is no point in trying. You will end up creating badly written articles that could damage your reputation more than they  can drive traffic.
5. Can you be consistent?
Consistency is one of the most important things when blogging. It’s the same with social networks. If you start creating content, your readers will expect you to keep creating content.
By answering these questions, you should have a better understanding of what you are capable of, and some ideas of the content you can create.
It’s true that blogging every day is the best option; however that is only true if it’s feasible. I create content on this website once a week, every Monday. That’s because it would be impossible for me to create content every day of the week whilst holding down a full time job and having any sort of life.
Once you have worked out exactly how often you should be creating your blog entries, why not take a look at your web page and make sure it is converting your readers to leads.

4 Highly Profitable Affiliate-Marketing Programs " Blog Bucks " ( Tips ) www.ninasparksblogbucks.blogspot.com

4 Highly Profitable Affiliate-Marketing Programs

So, you’re considering an affiliate-marketing program as a means to monetize your blog or add another income stream to your e-commerce site. But which networks offer the highest-quality products and present the best revenue opportunities? Good question.
Here’s a look at four leaders in the field:
  1. Amazon Associates — Amazon sells millions of products (books, music, electronics, toys, and more) that fit into virtually any niche, so its affiliate marketing program is a natural choice for almost anyone. Comparatively speaking, its payouts are generous, too: They vary based on product type and sales volume, but commission rates start at 4 percent and can reach up to 15 percent for specific product lines. However, note that Amazon’s program is now illegal in several states (although there are some work-arounds).
  2. Commission Junction — This site serves as a clearinghouse for thousands of companies and small businesses looking to get into the affiliate business. It offers myriad affiliate programs, but you must apply separately to each one. Payout rates vary wildly, up to 50 percent, and some commissions are based on leads or clicks vs. sales. Frustratingly, Commission Junction deducts $10 from your accrued earnings for every month in which you don’t actively earn commissions; if you let your account lapse, your income could get wiped out.
  3. LinkShare — Like Commission Junction, LinkShare provides access to affiliate-marketing opportunities from a variety of companies, including Buy.com. LinkShare’s site features an easy-to-read publisher dashboard that keeps you apprised of the latest offers from your merchant partners and gives you real-time access to your earning data. According to the site, commission rates typically reach up to 20 percent.
  4. ShareASale — ShareASale provides access to more than 3,300 separate merchant affiliate programs in many vertical markets, including food, apparel, and home and garden. The network has smaller brands than most of its competitors, but many affiliate partners offer high payouts: The stationary company Tinyprints offers 10% commission on sales, or $5 per lead; while PerkStreet Financial Commissions offers as much as $50 a sale. The Affluent Blogger’s Aiden Clinton speaks highly of ShareASale’s intuitive web interface, asserting that it is particularly convenient for companies that run multiple websites. ShareASale also offers referral bonuses for signing up new affiliate marketers.
Of course, when using any affiliate program, you’ll be most successful if you think about the needs and desires of your existing audience — and provide reviews of and links to products that you know will interest them. In a future post, we’ll cover exactly how to do that.

How Affiliates Make Money Blogging

Blogs, or weblogs, are one of the most effective affiliate marketing tools available. If you are a blogger or would like to become one, the following tips and advice can help you make the most of your affiliate blogging.

Affiliate Blogging 101Blog Bucks "

So how do bloggers make money through affiliate marketing? By joining affiliate programs and adding links to merchant products and service, you can earn money every time a user buys something via your affiliate links. Sometimes affiliate programs pay a flat fee for each customer referral, but most offer some type of percentage of every successful sale. Payments can range from mere pennies per referral to over $100 for a single sale.

Many merchant and retailers want to increase their online sales and affiliate programs offer the perfect option for expanding their

online audience, attracting new customers, and generating revenue. How do these programs work? When you join an affiliate program, you will be give a unique affiliate ID that will be used to identify the sales you have referred.  Your unique identifier will be embedded in the affiliate links you add to your blog.  Every time a user signs up for an offer or buys an item through your links, you will be credited.

Joining Affiliate Programs

Which affiliate programs should you join? With thousands to choose from, finding the programs that are right for your blog can be difficult. The best affiliate programs are those that offer products and services that your readers need or are interested in learning more about. By understanding what your readers want, you will be better able to choose the best affiliate programs and products.

Choose a Blogging Service

Once you have decided to become an affiliate blogger, you need to choose the right blogging tools for your needs. Some bloggers have had success with free blogs, but you should also consider purchasing your own domain name and paid Web hosting. Some services offer hosting starting at as little as $30 a year, which makes this a very affordable option for affiliate bloggers.

Typepad, WordPress and Blogger are some of the most popular options for many affiliate marketers. All three offer an option for free hosting, but you can also add your blog to your own website. Consider your needs as a blogger before choosing the option that is right for you.

Affiliate Blogging

In order to become a successful affiliate blogger, you need to learn a few important affiliate marketing techniques before you begin. Successful affiliate marketers always strive to match their offers to their topics. For example, if you are blogging about career advice, you should showcase career-related affiliate links. If you were to start a blog about the latest fashion trends, you would want to feature clothing and other fashion-items on your blog.

While some bloggers have success with banner ads, text links are usually the preferred choice. Add affiliate links to every relevant blog post, but always strive to integrate the link into your actual content. Product reviews, shopping guides, tutorials and other advice are great ways to prominently feature your affiliate links.

If you plan to monetize your site by becoming an affiliate blogger, always take that time to carefully plan your marketing strategy. Choose a niche topic for your blog and join top-notch affiliate programs. Whatever programs and products you choose to promote, always be sure to diversify your approach. Join at least two or three programs in order to ensure multiple streams of income and always be on the lookout for new ways to publicize and promote your affiliate blog.
